"Check in could be improved. Arrived to a busy pub with customers waiting for service at the bar and no designated check in desk. Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. "The property was really well located, checkin quite early, with no problem from there side. The room was really clean, bed was good, bathroom had everything and loved the shower. Tom was really helpful, informative, gave us a bit of history of the building, which was fascinating. "We only stayed one night and in the June Heat wave , our room no3 was very very hot ,it had a ceiling fan but didn't cool down the room , we asked for another fan which they gave us but still the bedroom was too warm for comfort , this was all due to the heatwave ,not the Inn's fault. "From our after midnight arrival to the manager who went out of his way to change us from one type of handicap access room to one that was better suited to my needs. This property was run like a well oiled machine. The staff overall was polite and helpful, which obviously was made possible by the manager who seemed to treat them all the same way he treated guests (kind and helpful) even when he wasn’t in the building the staff was exceptional. A rare find these days"
