"Unfortunately, there was a mistake made when booking the reservation as this property is similarly named as the Raleigh Durham Airport location. Despite attempts made by me and Hotels.com the property refused to make any attempt to help with the mistake. The front desk staff was unhelpful and the manager that can make the decision was unavailable on Saturday night when I was at the wrong hotel with no reservation. They need to better advertise their location in their name to make it less confusing for a weary traveler making a last minute reservation for a stay. It will be the last time that I use the La Quinta brand over their lack of care in resolving the mistake. I asked for any kind of help or refund and never insisted on a full refund as I do understand that I was also part of the mistake. Customer service is lacking and hotels need to do more to ensure guest satisfaction. "

"I had an outstanding stay at the Hyatt Place Southpoint in Durham, NC! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very welcoming from the moment I arrived. The staff ; Ava and Noel were very friendly and professional, always ready to help with anything needed. The rooms were spacious, well-kept, and provided a relaxing environment after a long day. The location is excellent—very convenient to shopping, dining, and the Southpoint area, which made getting around easy and enjoyable. My only small surprise during the stay was noticing a few ladybugs around the room. While it didn’t take away from the overall experience, it was the one minor thing that stood out. Aside from that, everything about the stay was outstanding. I would definitely return and recommend Hyatt Place Southpoint to anyone visiting Durham!"

"Great front desk service. Trash outside was overflowing which is wrong of the patrons that were staying to do. The breakfast had options so that was nice. Gym had one treadmill that wouldn’t go past 1 mph and the other treadmill the incline didn’t work."

"Aloft in Chapel Hill Saved Our Trip!! We actually had booked at a different hotel for our short visit to Chapel Hill and it was gross, smelled terrible, and was a little scary just to be honest. So we quickly checked right back out and found ALOFT - Thank Goodness!!! From the second I walked in the lobby door I felt at home and welcomed! Staff is friendly, helpful and just plain fantastic with my every question and request. The entire hotel had the most wonderful clean fragrance. The room was just what we needed, clean and again had a nice clean fragrance. On site gym was very nice. And the lobby lounge area had a great fun/homey atmosphere where everyone could feel comfortable. Will definitely stay again if we visit Chapel Hill!!! "
