I travel regularly for appointments in Chapel Hill. This is the first time and the last I will stay at this hotel. I was awaken several times by loud steps from the upper level on top of my room. I was in room 327. Not sure if this is a regular thing, but the least I expect when staying at a hotel is a good nights sleep. The noise level outside was also horrible. The pillows on the bed were also disappointing. Will continue using Aloft where at least I can assure I will be able to sleep.

Bed linens did not feel clean and had a moldy, sweaty smell. One pillow case was completely wrinkled and all bedding smelled in general. I would recommend that the hotel wash comforters and pillows regularly as well as press the pillow cases.

Staff was great and helpful. The room was nice enough. The walls are very thin and can be a problem if you have a noisy neighbor. Our window AC was also not working fully and started having issues. Our sink also was not draining properly. Make sure to pay for your parking which is separate.

I was shocked to discover that there is now a parking fee for use of your parking lot. We have stayed at this Tru hotel many times and not only was this a surprise, but not listed on your web page. Your staff is very helpful and friendly. The main desk clerk, Daniel, was outstanding and the breakfast buffet crew were always friendly and helpful with some easy food. I was also surprised that a light housekeeping was listed for an overnight stay yet none appeared.

Good hotel with a great location while visiting my daughter at unc. The comforter on the bed is way too thin but the beds are comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly. Only downfall was no coffee maker or hot water machine in the rooms but they did have it available in the lobby. Nice touch to hand us water and a snack when we checked in.
