"We had a great memorable vacation. Hotel staff went above and beyond to make the day special especially for our 34th Wedding anniversary and for my birthday, decorated our room and gave surprise cake. The daily breakfast is a feast and sitting by the Lotus Cafe/ Ubod Water Palace every morning is a treat. Our half day tour experience is beautiful and worth it. The Incense class/ ceremony and complimentart visit to Ubod Water Palace as a hotel guest is another great bonus experience. We got upgraded to a roomy quiet and beautiful Royal room and our family with us stayed at the classic room w balcony looking over Water Palace is beautiful.Special mention to Heri, Putu,Arya Yunita,Mang Ayu, Manik, Olag and Musta. Also thank you to Wayan and Ketut for incense class. Thank you to housekeeping team for a beautiful and clean room for 6 days. We will return w more family and friends next time"

"Our stay at The Lokha Ubud Resort & Spa was nothing short of magical. We stayed in a valley view room and waking up to the peaceful sounds of the river flowing below was incredibly serene. The setting is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by lush greenery and nature, it felt like a true escape. The staff were exceptional — warm, attentive, and always smiling. The breakfast buffet was generous and delicious each morning, with plenty of options to enjoy. The complimentary shuttle service into central Ubud made exploring very easy, and we found ourselves visiting the Ubud markets frequently. Returning to the calm of the resort after busy market visits was the perfect balance. The spa experiences in Ubud were unforgettable, and The Lokha provided a peaceful and comfortable base for everything we wanted to do. An absolutely fantastic stay — we would return in a heartbeat."

"Samhita Garden Ubud is a precious gem, a step back in time oasis only 300 metres to Ubud’s old palace (in the centre of town). Surrounded by restaurants, shops and galleries you can easily walk to the Monkey Forest and Art Market. Samhita is traditional in style - large rooms and suites which have been kept clean and well maintained. A simple but adequate breakfast is served every morning. The garden and quiet ambiance remind me of the best Bali offers a traveller. Genuine hospitality, a peaceful location and warm friendly Balinese staff. If you want an extremely well priced hotel with gorgeous gardens and comfortable private rooms then you will live Samhita Garden Ubud. We came for 3 nights but so wish we had been able to stay a week or two… maybe not now but we will be back later this year. Great for singles, couples or family groups looking for a traditional and authentic Bali hotel experience. Truly is an oasis in Ubud’s chaos. "

"Oh my, what a treat it was staying at Udaya Resort and Spa. The staff spoiled us everyday with attention to details. Breakfast comes with the room. It is a full cooked to order meal chosen from a menu several pages long. Delicious! There is also afternoon tea which is accompanied by little sandwiches and sweets. Very civilized. Be sure to plan time for the spa. We spent hours there and were sad to leave the pampering. Udaya also has a trolly into town periodically. The restaurant is excellent. Don’t miss the fruit juice drinks. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with big soaking tubs, plenty of storage, patios, and the villas have a private pool. You will appreciate the air conditioning. "
