"Nous avons adoré, tout était parfait!"

"While La Tartana Hotel is a beautiful property, and our room had lots of character with a lovely small balcony overlooking the hotel's restaurant terrace and the Mediterranean further below--it turns out to be just above a busy highway and therefore isolated from town and the beach, so you have to either drive or walk along the shoulder of this highway to get anywhere. This might have been less of an issue if we could have enjoyed the property itself, but during our stay the restaurant and bar...

"Spacious room the staff. Were always helpful and cheerful, the food selection at breakfast excellent plenty of choice .the hotel is about 10 mins walk to beach .great place for families with excellent facilities for children and pensioners like me and my missus in our 80 s have used this hotel over the years and hope to keep coming back in the future"

"Nada, muy mala atención; nunca vi a una persona en el front desk."

"Friendly and extremely helpful staff. The room was spotlessly clean as was the hotel. Ideal location for Nerja town. I would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely renovated room where everything was clean and looked new! Huge balcony over looking the pool which was also fab and we had it to ourselves most of the time, balcony gets the sun until sunset where you can watch the sun go down, there is a steep hill and lots of steps so can be tiring walking up and down, we found the coastal path to the old town which took about 20 mins to get to, the beach was beautiful and not too busy and it’s a 5 minute walk down hill, a bit longer coming back! On our...

"Very centrally located with parking near by. Spotlessly clean room and very helpful staff."

"Vi havde to overnatninger på dette nyere lille boutique hotel midt i byen med kun 5 værelser og ovenikøbet en lille spa i gården. Værtinden var super hyggelig at snakke med og alt var spotless. "

"Friendly couple, great location, nice pool and lounge area, clean rooms, nice guests. Really enjoyed our stay here, definitely coming back!"

"Rent och fräscht på rummen. Men det fylldes inte på av vatten och plastglas på rummen. Frukosten enkel, men helt ok. Det behöver inte vara så mycket. Finns gratisparkering på gatan (om man har tur att hitta). Nära till strandpromenaden och restauranger. Prisvärt. Kan absolut tänka mig att komma tillbaka."

"Centrally located."

"It is challenging to talk with the staff when arrive to facility. No one at the place to check you in and no information ahead of time to prepare for this. If we did not get help from other guests how to check in, it would have been more challenging. Needs significant improvements how to check in and prepare guests for them to check in."

"What a little gem . For a 2* hostal this place was excellent. Spotlessly clean . Beautiful decor throughout with many Andalucian tiled floors . Jose was very friendly and helpful. Underground parking for 11.50€ a day close by or free on street parking ( if you can find a spot) 20 min walk to the beach or the local bus costs 60 cents each Bathroom a little small but adequate air conditioning in bedroom and beds comfortable Would definitely stay here again. Deserves a 5 * review in my opinion...

"Great location."

"A lovely hotel in the old town of Frigiliana. Tanya is very friendly and helpful."

"Great location. Very helpful staff. Very nice experience. Highly recommended."

"We were given a 3 bedroom apartment but only requested a 1 bedroom apartment. This obviously wasn't a problem for us! We would have preferred a larger balcony as suggested in the photos on the website! Also feel it should be clearer that the property is situated on a very steep slope! Not a problem if you have a car which we didn't!!"
