"Tracey is an amazing host. We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica:
- different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace
- modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus)
- spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point"

Mi hija y yo hemos disfrutado de una habitación triple con un balcón cuyas vistas al mar transmitían serenidad y por la noche una brisa una luna de agosto impagables. Para ser un tres estrellas la relación de calidad/precio es como diría aquel "imbatible". Si tuviera una pequeña nevera en la habitación sería de matrícula de honor."
"Das Hotel ist fantastisch. Sehr modern und neu. Es ist sehr sauber. Vielen Dank an die Mitarbeiter. Bad ist in einem sehr guten Zustand. Betten sind sehr bequem. Safe war inklusive. Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei.
Freundliches, unaufdringliches Personal, top Lage. 5 Minuten Fußweg zum Strand. Promenade ist sehr schön.
Frühstück ist super. Der Kaffee schmeckt richtig gut. Wir haben eine schöne Zeit in dem Hotel verbracht und können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. "

Would prefer more non-buffet options at lunchtime (the bar does have a small but acceptable menu).
Loved the golf, table tennis, chess, entertainment (all free).
Rooms were very good & clean.
Parking could be a bit tricky to find a space. Not impossible- just could take a while.
Staff all very helpful in all areas.
Pool areas were good - but outdoor pools were cold (end of May/early June).

Lejlighederne er lys, store og rummelige og hotellet ligger i gåafstand fra byen. Alt personale er smilende og venlige og særlig Ana i receptionen vil vi fremhæve for hendes altid hjælpsom, smilende og venlig måde at være på.

"Vi sov två nätter på Almijara. Alltid bemannat i receptionen och bagageutrymme tillgängligt både förre och efter incheckningen. Rent och fräscht på rummet, städning varje dag om man vill. AC i hela hotellet. Prisvärd frukostbuffé för 8 euro.
Nackdelen är att det inte finns parkering till hotellet så det kan vara lite knivigt att hitta parkeringsplatser i närheten, men vi lyckades hyfsat med det.

"All the employees were very friendly, even the cleaning staff! The walls are thin so you will hear your neighbours but the amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend choosing the “all-inclusive” option for meals. The buffets were first rate and had everything labelled carefully if you have food sensitivities (like gluten intolerance or a severe nut allergy). "
