Number one, the staff was so nice! The place was very clean and it has a lot of space. Having a fridge, a kitchen, a washer and dryer when you travel makes a huge difference. It was in a great area near many restaurants and very close to the beach. I would definitely stay there again and again!

This was an amazing place to stay. The room was spacious and very clean, and has a washer and dryer in the room with laundry detergent provided for free. There were free drinks provided in the fridge as well. The place is a two minute walk if that to the beach. The lady at the reception was so friendly and personally took us to our room to ensure everything was to our liking. We definitely will be returning to this amazing vacation getaway.

Very pleased with our stay. The room was clean, upgraded (remodeled) and the hotel was safe. It’s fairly close to the beach and main street for eating. It’s up a hill, on cobble street, so be ready for that.

I’ve stayed at V azul two times and both have been fantastic. Clean, quiet, modern accommodations!! Lovely staff and safe area. Groceries nearby on Amapas street. One block from beach. This is great for a solo traveler! Rooftop pool is small but great view of sunset.

Much more than all the comforts of home! Spacious luxury with beautiful views in a friendly atmosphere, both staff and other guests. Great location if you like to get out and walk and see things. Mini-super close by and everything you could need in a kitchen. Love the washer and dryer!

V Azul is a 12 unit building in the Romantic Zone. Our room was on the first floor street-side; rooms above us have ocean views. We liked that it had a small eat-in kitchen- we didn’t cook, but we did make sandwiches and cereal. The condo had a small sitting area with TV, which could be watched from the king size bed when the pocket doors to the living room were open. The living area and bedroom had sliders to a small balcony overlooking the street with a table and two chairs, which we enjoyed in the morning. The bath had a big vanity and shower- just be careful, as the tile outside the shower can get slippery (the tile inside the shower is fine). The roof has a pool and barbeque area- we took advantage of the pool many days after time at the beach. V Azul is close to the bars and restaurants on Los Muertos Beach, and a short walk to the restaurants on Basillo Badillo. It is a small climb to the building, and as always, be careful on beach stone roads. The front desk is often staffed with helpful, friendly people This was our second stay at V Azul- and we would definitely consider another stay!

We normally stay at a full service resort, and tried this option this visit. It was great. Smaller, quieter and more flexible for a longer stay. The rooftop made you feel you had a private pool and BBQ area all to yourself. Would definitely recommend. The only downside was not having full service. Would definitely recommend.

It was a well equipped unit with a king bed, large bathroom with a walkin shower, laundry in unit, full kitchen, and close to everything in the romantic zone with a small rooftop pool. The living room area was tiny with a small TV and worn sofa that was probably a sleeper. The area has many hills with few sidewalks and would be prohibitive for anyone needing accessibility accommodations.

This little condo has everything you need. Even a washing machine and dryer (pack light as You can wash clothes as needed). Full fridge, stove, kitchen accessories, separate bedroom and pull out sofa if needed. Two large screen TVs if you want to chill and a little rooftop patio. There is no view from the outside balcony however the win from this is how quiet it is for sleeping which is what we actually wanted From our space. There is a direct staircase across the street down to the “blue chairs” beach if you want to access there and main area if old town is a 5 minute walk. It’s everything we wanted and more from our stay. Highly recommend this place.

Fantastic modern place in perfect location

Nicely kept place in great location of Zona Romantica. Easy access to beach (1 block away) and quick walk to the main downtown area. Also good restaurants around, as well as a mini market which sells many things at a decent price. The unit is clean and modern, with a full kitchen and bathroom that is sizable. Washer and dryer in unit which is a huge plus. The rooftop has a small pool that faces the ocean and we spent a lot of time there. The front desk staff Caroline is very nice and accommodating. The only down side of the place is they only provide house keeping service once a week (unless if you are willing to pay 250 pesos for additional ones ) but they are willing to exchange towels for free on request.
