No understanding or apology from the property management, completely opposite response from hotels.com who did their best to resolve the issue and were very understanding. Entering the property we discovered a loudly beeping smoke alarm which we had to take down and remove the battery to stop the annoying sound. The property needs some maintenance, a broken cupboard door in the kitchen, the shower hose leaks. The shower is poor quality and has very low pressure and the cubicle is small for what is quite a spacious property. No lamp shade on the ceiling light in the main bedroom and no bedside lights. Poorly equipped with crockery and cutlery. The property has potential to be a very pleasant place to stay but clearly the management show little interest in maintaining it to a high standard. The pictures and description flatter to deceive. The overall attitude of the property management was unacceptable."
