"Fantastic, couldn’t have been more accommodating, stayed here as was competing in Scottish half marathon, house just across the road from finish line!! Also bus outside the house to head directly to Edinburgh where we enjoyed the Fringe festival. Alice went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic weekend, highly recommend."

"エディンバラを朝から晩まで楽しみたい方にはおすすめしませんが、観光客で溢れたエディンバラを脱出して郊外で特別な宿泊体験をしたい方にはおすすめです。お城の塔の寝室、大広間、屋根上が貸切です。お姫様というよりは砦の城主の気分を味わえます。車で行く方が多いようですが、私たちは最寄りのWallyford駅（エディンバラから2駅）から歩きました。遊歩道を30-40分ほど歩くと着きます。夕食は済ませるか、調達してから行く必要があります。朝食は部屋に準備してあり、好きなものを選んで食べられます。オーナーご夫妻が気さくでとても良い方々でした。おすすめです。"

"Excellent stay and service, food was excellent with a good choice offered on the menu. The bar was also really good with several choices of beverages available, all were offered at reasonable cost."

"This was a leisure visit. We were greeted by you are early (30 mins) which I had acknowledged before they mentioned it and said they would check. Again they said we were early but the room was ready and told Room 3 upstairs! We only have 7 rooms we were told. The room was tidy but dusty and the window although double glazed had a gale blowing through as it didn’t fully seal when closed. The shower head had more water coming out of the top of the shower head than where it was supposed to come...

"Two live wasps were in the room. Owner offered a downgraded room that had toilet outside the room. We had paid for en suite so we refused his offer and he agreed to refund us the money we had paid. I’ve had to message the owner few times to take care of the refund but I haven’t had any update. I now have to deal with the hassle of reporting the matter to the platform to get my money back. This is a headache I could have done without so I could enjoy my holiday. "

"I had a very nice time at this hotel. My wife and I, we were for our honey moon and they decorated our room. It was really good service. We went to Scotland for history and we got it at the hotel too. The ship was made in 1919 and preserves authenticity. The view was wonderful and its location just 15 min from downtown on a bus easy to take in a corner. "

"Very clean space. Very economical for Edinburgh. A bit tight for 3 adults but we knew that before, knowing we would be there only for sleeping. Great location. Bus stop is right across the road. Less than 20 minutes to the heart of the city. "
