"Fantastic, couldn’t have been more accommodating, stayed here as was competing in Scottish half marathon, house just across the road from finish line!! Also bus outside the house to head directly to Edinburgh where we enjoyed the Fringe festival. Alice went out of her way to ensure we had a fantastic weekend, highly recommend."

"This was a leisure visit. We were greeted by you are early (30 mins) which I had acknowledged before they mentioned it and said they would check. Again they said we were early but the room was ready and told Room 3 upstairs! We only have 7 rooms we were told. The room was tidy but dusty and the window although double glazed had a gale blowing through as it didn’t fully seal when closed. The shower head had more water coming out of the top of the shower head than where it was supposed to come...

"Had a room in the attic. The only window on the room had no blinds. The shower was great, lights as well. But wifi was super slow and so slow, I am not used to that anymore. Bed was soft but okay. Overall a decent stay and all the things you need. But for me the atmosphere was... not super welcoming. I would suggest new locks on the door, especially as a female solo traveller that would be appreciated. "

"Two live wasps were in the room. Owner offered a downgraded room that had toilet outside the room. We had paid for en suite so we refused his offer and he agreed to refund us the money we had paid. I’ve had to message the owner few times to take care of the refund but I haven’t had any update. I now have to deal with the hassle of reporting the matter to the platform to get my money back. This is a headache I could have done without so I could enjoy my holiday. "

"The place was in a very central and good location. It was quiet and spacious. There was two TV's, netfli x and all needed appliances. However, the place was a bit worn out and not that clean. The bed sheets smelled parfymed and bit musty. Some stuff didn't work at all. When booking a place from this website, would assume stuff to work."

"Very clean space. Very economical for Edinburgh. A bit tight for 3 adults but we knew that before, knowing we would be there only for sleeping. Great location. Bus stop is right across the road. Less than 20 minutes to the heart of the city. "

"I want to gatekeep this review - this was such a fantastic stay. The Townhouse is fantastic! Such great attention to detail and Alexander/Erika were so good at communicating with me; proactive and timely always. The room itself was large, spacious and so well appointed. Mattress was comfortable, the little kitchen perfect, the bathroom large and plush towels. Location is fantastic in Leith - close to so many cafes/restaurants and the beach is a 10minute bus ride or a 40mins walk. Couldn't...
