"This was our second stay at the Royal hotel, our first was just an overnight stay, and we liked Nimes so much we wanted longer and couldn't imagine a better hotel. "Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location. I booked a small room and there was enough space. The room could do with a little sprucing up in places, but clean and comfortable. It was up three flights of stairs, so may be an issue for others. Some hotels in France have some kind of water fountain to reduce plastic, so that was missing. But otherwise a great place and I would stay again."

"A great hotel with all the charm of Provence. We stayed for 3 nights and loved it. Rooms are charming and romantic. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced for dinner. The outdoor pool was a real gem -- clean water, peaceful setting, surrounded by beautiful old trees. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great price for a hotel that I will remember!"
