Beautiful townhouse hotel stay! We felt very taken care of by the staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The floors were a bit creaky, but that's just the nature of an old building. The coffee and breakfast from the hotel was delicious! It's also conveniently located near a lot of book stores, cafes and shops, and easily walkable to other parts of the city. Highly recommend!

Rosa Et Al was the PERFECT stay for my time in Porto! I knew this place was gonna be amazing based on the reviews and pictures but as soon as I stepped foot they had already exceeded my expectations! It was the most beautiful home renovated into a mini hotel of sorts. Beautiful rustic, clean, and elegant. The staff was so friendly and helpful. My room was GORGEOUS!! And if you’re a walker like me, this is the perfect spot to get around to any area of Porto. In terms of food, I tried the yogurt bowl one morning and it was delicious!!! If I ever find myself in Porto again I would 1000% stay here again.

This property was well above what we expected. From check in to departure, the staff were friendly and helpful. The dining was absolutely top notch quality, but very unpretentious as well. It was the perfect place to land after a red-eye flight. We were able to drop off our bags, have a lovely brunch and relax before going sight seeing for a few hours. Couldn’t have planned it better!

Beautiful boutique hotel/cafe with chic rooms. We stayed in the garden suite which was detached from the rest of the hotel. Very quiet and nice. Only qualms were that the receptionists were also running a cafe which led to them being overwhelmed and occasionally difficult to obtain service from. The garden suite was also a little musty due to poor ventilation. The food was delicious.

This is a charming hotel above a gourmet food and wine store. The rooms are extra large and well designed. Hot water and room thermostats worked perfectly The staff is amazing; very friendly and accommodating. They know you by name and greet you when you come in and say goodbye when you leave. The breakfasts are delicious, and you can prepay for breakfast or pay when you come. The location is close enough to the historic center about a 15 minute walk and fast enough away to be very quiet. I highly recommend.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The location is good. Hotel asked us by text to upload passports photos to the web which was a security concern for us. We understood breakfast was included, but it is only a 15 Euro allowance. Coffee and other extras are not included. Breakfast wasn't served one morning due to limited staff.

We enjoyed our stay at Rosa et al. Its convenient location made walking around Porto a breeze. They offer a nice breakfast and also have a selection of homemade biscuits and condiments for purchase. The only reason for not giving our stay a 5 star rating is that our room configuration had the toilet open to the sleeping area with only a low height bookcase as a barrier. If I had known this I would not have selected this hotel. There may be other room configurations available, so my advice is to clarify this before booking as this room type is unlikely to be suitable for many.

A lovely hotel but I was extremely disappointed with the unusual bathroom set up. Not really an en-suite as the walls do not meet the ceiling so the toilet is in the same room as the bed. No privacy whatsoever. We asked to move rooms but the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing the staff could do for us. I would not have booked this room if I’d known about the bathroom. However lots of positives. The staff were great. The breakfasts delicious. Pretty garden. Cool area.

Room was beautiful but we had to wait for it even though we were asked to fill out a form prior with our arrival time and it was after normal check in. Not a big deal. Then the gentleman who led us up 3 flights of stairs to our room, didn’t offer to help me carry my bags after previously saying he would take our bags to our room. I heard the other staff tell him about our room in Portuguese before he took us up but he didn’t repeat any of it to us in English. Restaurant and food were fantastic and even though some little service touches were missing, I would still recommend. Great location and extremely comfy bed.
