We appreciate the fact that we were upgraded to Grand Lexis from Lexis due to sanitization work. Also, the room was spacious, clean and had an amazing sea view. However, the WiFi speed was extremely slow. After we complained, a technician came to look at our room router. He informed us that the fault is at the central server. We were told that it would take 30min to fix. However, when we called up to inquire why the WiFi was still hardly accessible, we were then informed that it could only be fixed the next morning. Again, the next morning, the WiFi remained extremely slow until we checked out.
This is extremely disappointing for a premium class hotel like Lexis. It is unthinkable that in a time when everyone depends on the internet for news, study, work and entertainment, Lexis should have such poor internet access. This incident marred our otherwise pleasant one night stay.
