"terrific staff, nice room, great location. As with all hotels in the 'Old Town', you must walk from the city gate (with your bags) to the hotel, sometimes through narrow streets, up abundant stairs and on uneven roads, but this hotel was easy to get to and just one set of stairs to climb."

"You will get the best view of Dubrovnik old town from almost everywhere in excelsior hotel. Breakfast is very good both in variety and quality. Rooms are in good standard, very clean and comfortable. Service are excellent. A bit pricey but if you don’t mind spending more for nice view and service, this hotel is a very good choice.
