"WOW. Firstly, yes there are 183 steps to the property but the first 107 are straight up and then everything after that is a couple steps with landings and short walks inbetween. There’s also a hill to the stairs BUT they have free luggage service that they provide to help you get your suitcases up to the villa. The locals are proud to tell you about Ravello and it is the perfect spot for a peaceful, restful vacation with some of the most stunning views. You don't have the hustle and bustle of Positano and it isn't crowded. Open Gate is close to stairs that lead you to the center of town.
