" Every thing about this hotel is of a very good standard ,it’s very peaceful,excellent location ,great pools ,food and staff are excellent,the rooms are spotless,beds and linen are high quality ,shower is superb ,and also the high pressure toilets ! This was our second stay in this hotel and we cannot recommend it enough ,it’s registered as a 5 star ,which it’s not quite,however for all it has going for it I’d recommend it for all but the most fussy of clients ! Overall great friendly hotel with excellent staff that actually care about their clients and their well being ,you can’t go wrong with this one ,absolutely spotless,thanks dream we shall return ! "A lovely hotel, atmospheric & with lovely friendly service from all the staff. The room was nice, pool area lovely, breakfast was very nice & varied. We are dinner there twice & would really recommend. A very relaxing break, Yaiza is peaceful, easy to access on the airport bus, very quiet & not touristy like the mainstream resorts in the coast. "

"I stayed at this hotel recently and was pleased with my experience. The room was a bit warm in the afternoon, but no AC was promised, so that was expected. Breakfast was basic, which matched the cost, and was sufficient to start the day. Check-in was handled at a separate location, which was slightly unusual, but check-out was simple and straightforward. Overall, for the price, this hotel offered a very good experience, and I would recommend it to travelers looking for good value."

"We stayed at The Villa for 10 days in June 2025. The Villa is situated about one mile from Rubicon Marina and about half a mile from Playa Blanca centre. We enjoy walking so we found this a very pleasant form of exercise. Though there are taxis available. There is also a new Aldi a few hundred meters away for daily provisions. The Villa itself has a spacious private parking area with the added security of an electronic gate. Upon entry to the villa it was very clean, contemporary and very well appointed with everything you’d need. The pool at the rear of the villa is once again very well appointed, spacious and with high walls making it private. We really enjoyed our stay and would return. It’s also worth noting that the organisation and support from Retreat Villas was spot on."
