Playa Akun, Tulum

"My solo trip to Libelula was incredible to say the least. With tons of beautiful views, located directly on the beach with astounding rooms that capture the essence of a space of relaxation. Huge shoutout to the amazing staff for making this trip one for the books. I 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone traveling to Tulum!"

"All good. Everything is as advertised. "

"Our stay at Olivia Oceanfront Tulum was absolutely incredible! We traveled with a group of friends, and it was the perfect place for an unforgettable Tulum getaway. The beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, and amazing amenities made our stay even more special. The Guest Experience team was amazing and helped us throughout our stay with great recommendations for restaurants, activities, and places to explore. The check-in process was quick and easy, and our room was clean, comfortable, and...

"They do not have a pool .. It's only a soaking tub on top floor!! Extremely disappointing for me as I wanted to swim in a pool the entire vacation.. Also, you can't do laundry yourself.. Which I don't like!! The housekeeper's can but the fee is 25 U.S. Stuff was extremely friendly.. Be aware you can't swim in the ocean do to sargassum it smells and it is everywhere, Tulum and Cancun... Tulum is very expensive also.."

"I was there for 2 night. I love this place look amazing and room was really nice and staff friendly. Everything perfect but only this I didn’t like when u have to check in they will take your whole hour for wait on front desk and there is lot a mosquitos other that place is amazing"

"Exceptional. Reflects on how a hotel suite should be. Beautiful grounds. Restaurant on-site, food was superb and staff were beyond genuine. Highly recommend. We spent two nights there after spending three at a hotel at the beach. It’s telling that every detail was well curated to reflect a very distinctive experience. Hopefully, we make it back."

"Place was nice but could’ve been kept better. I got probably over 30 mosquito bites because there was a gap in in the window that couldn’t be covered. The water and electric went out middle of the night before check out, and I found out because my cpap turned off and I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth. It was raining hard so in order to get to the front desk from my room I had to walk through ankle height water. It could’ve been easily fixed if they put a drain or something....

"The Grand Suite is lovely and the staff responded quickly to communication. It was not exactly what I expected as the description shows “private pool” and “private hot tub”. There was no hot tub. The plunge pool was chilly (not a bad thing as it was very warm outside) but as it was located on the first floor, it was very visible from the windows of the surrounding housing units and from the windows of the upper level rooms. So, no skinny dipping or sunbathing as it’s maybe not public but it is...

"excelente servicio"

"The pool was great as were the staff."

"Now THIS is a special property. We’ve now stayed in 6 of the Tulum Beach road hotels and this is our absolute favourite. This is an incredibly intimate small boutique hotel with amazing design and attention to detail, absolutely incredible food and the most wonderful team of staff. We were blown away by the service from start to finish. Whilst we stayed at Xela, they arranged for dinner at Nu, private dining on their rooftop to watch the sunset, we got to rescue baby sea turtles and return them...
