There were so many amenities to enjoy while there, definitely recommend grabbing something from the bakery. The spa with the heated pools was definitely a highlight and a good way to relax. The room was so clean and comfortable as well. Overall this is a great hotel with rich history and I hope to return here again one day!"

"Comfortable and happy stay at Mama Shelter. The bed was super comfy! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. A little walk from tram stop and seafront but very near Nice Riquier station - perfect for day trips - and only a few minutes from a good range of restaurants and bars. Buffet breakfast decent with a good amount of choice. Options for the restaurant and terrace menus are a but decent. The room had no kettle so way of making hot drinks, which is disappointing, and surprising given the...

This is a new favourite: perfect location; the room was spotless, with a good shower; the balcony was wonderful; the staff friendly. Only downside was that the bed was a bit small! But if that's all you have to complain about, you've had a good time. Brilliant - highly recommended."

The street noise was beyond ridiculous pretty much all throughout the night and as the air conditioning didn’t work I had to have the window open! The noise got worse as the week went on and most mornings the machine noises woke me up at 6am, not a very relaxing holiday after being woken at various times throughout the night! "
