"The hotel was incredible. The food and drinks weren’t just the best we had while in the UK, but some of the best we’ve ever had worldwide. The consistency of all the drinks and meals was out of this world! Highly highly recommend. "

"Not everything is new at this property, but that is part of it's character. We were pleased to discover that there was a (small - 2 person) lift which made it easier to get our large luggage up to our room. Only negative comment is that the TV in the room was rather small by today's standards, but it was adequate."

"I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if and when I’m in Edinburgh. The hotel is in a central location, close to everything in Old Town. The water fill station right on my floor was a huge plus and saved me a lot of time and money. Be warned that the higher floors may be noisy — the very last night, there were high winds, and the creaking coming from the ceiling was incredibly loud and impossible to sleep through. Other than that, it was a great stay. "
