Immaculately clean, helpful to a fault, nothing is too difficult to organize on your behalf and OMG the breakfast is more fit for a king than us minions. "Danu's homestay is the real experience. 5 star service with many smiles. If your looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience, this is it. Sigiriya is a beautiful little town and Lion Rock is a must do. Get up early to beat the crowds and heat. It opens at 7am. We hired a scooter but Charu the father will drive you if needed. The family are absolutely loving,kind and generous. Make sure you have dinner with them. One of the best meals I've had in Sri Lanka.

"We had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Eighth Wonder Resort. The tree house was spacious and clean with lovely views of the surrounding forest.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant and pool area were beautiful and well maintained.
We had problems getting mobile reception, so the manager lent us a wifi router free of charge. Such a big help and very gracious!
