"We really enjoyed the beer garden in the afternoon. The wait staff at the bar, dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was a little small but very comfortable. The bathroom was very nice too. We’d definitely recommend this hotel."
"Prestonfield House is like an oasis in central Edinburgh. It is a beautifully maintained period house with nice grounds. The staff were excellent. I had a party of Thai friends for dinner and they loved both the atmosphere and the dinner itself. "

"The Scott hotel was so charming. Updated well, but still jas plenty of charming architecture. No elevator, so be prepared to walk up a couple of stairs, but it was so cute. The breakfast was absolutely lovely. Staff was very friendly. A little ways off of the royal mile, but well worth it for the quiet charm. Easily walkable. There are also busses nearby if you don't want to walk. "

"We had a great stay at this apartment. It was clean, looks to have been recently renovated. It had two bedrooms with queen size beds and a nice living/kitchen area. No staff on site but management was responsive when reached via the Hotels.com message site. Was super close to Edinburgh Castle, although at the bottom of the hill, and there were nice cafes and a grocery store nearby. Plenty of room for our family of four with two adult children. They even had a convenient locker to store luggage...
"While it was on a busy street and difficult to find where to park, the manager was amazing and helped us with our suitcases. The rooms are located above the restaurant and there is no elevator but it was only one flight of stairs. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. There is no A/C so it was a little hot because we couldn't open the window."
"Amazing stay with my daughter and husband. Excellent location as we were able to walk from the train station. The Royal Mile was so close. We shared a room and used a sofa bed. It was a bit cramped but we expected that. Bar was great. We stayed 2 nights. "
