The hotel is looking a little old. Although this really didn’t change our view of the hotel and surrounding area. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided advice when needed. The area outside of the hotel is very vibrant and has plenty to do. Bars, restaurants, the beach within 2min walk, everything that you need is extremely close to the hotel. What does need to be added at the hotel, is access control between the hotel floors. Anyone can goto whatever level they wish. This will cause a security issue at some point.

Checkin was friendly and smooth - then we were led to our room and an assault of mould smell hit us. Walls visibly wet, black mould everywhere and in the aircon vents. We asked to change rooms which was accommodated very quickly and easily with the lovely staff. Crazy however to even try and put guests in that space - it was uninhabitable. Otherwise - VERY comfortable bed, huge space in the family suite.

Great location great hotel

Location near one of the prettier parts of beach, loads of nearby restaurants and bars but not a loud area at night. Great night market nearby with great food. What I'd call the nicer part of Pattaya and a great break away from Bangkok. The hotel is modern and room spacious and well decorated, booked a suite and loved the space and comfort.

Very nice hotel, not too big. Nice lobby with fish tanks, one with 2 spectacular small sharks. Affordable price for the quality. Nice bedroom design with balcony with nice view of the ocean, Koh lan and beautiful sunset. Extremely convenient location, big 7-Eleven on the beach, nice Sand Cafe with wide choice of food all within a 2 minutes walk. Located on very quiet street with very little car or motorbike circulation.

For the rate paid the stay at The Sanctuary was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful, good location. Only small negatives were general upkeep, for example cleaning the elevator windows, and especially electical outlets in the room, most were so worn they would not work with a phone charger. Overall an enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Staff are very nice but lack of interaction between reception and housekeeping meant agreed requests were never kept which impacted on, what should have been , a very enjoyable experience. Still enjoyed my stay and outside of this the trip was still extremely enjoyable
