"We booked this place for the kitchenette. Which was basically non existent. We had to stay on the first floor. It was loud, there’s no elevator to what I assume are better options. The area was fine. The hotel is in transition. "

"Located in a cool and safe neighborhood, looking down to the ocean (Beverly Hills, Hollywood style). Very friendly owner/staff members, cozy atmosphere, and very unique furniture. Lovely breakfast, and an amazing swimming pool, with a spectacular ocean view. I stayed in winter, so being far from the beach didn't matter (about 10minutes by car). Free safe parking on the streets, and superb water pressure showers. Perfect for those who don't wanna be in the busy downtown or beach areas."

The room was lovely, clean and roomy, I was pleased to see that a kettle and coffee machine had been included in the room as this was not the case a couple of years ago - makes such a difference also small touches like free bottled water and chocolates in your room each day was nice.
