"We arrived late in the evening. The receptionist was friendly and helpful getting us checked in. She gave us some options for grabbing a quick bite in the area. The staff was helpful and warm during our entire stay. There was coffee and tea available for guests in the sitting area. Two walking plans were provided in our room to help us explore the old town. Rooms were clean and well appointed. I am glad we chose to stay at a local establishment over a big chain hotel."

"This was a wonderful experience. It was very relaxing. Everyone seemed so kind. The other guests also seemed nice. The hotel has its own ethos - very relaxing and respectful. It is a beautiful historical building, and a real treat to be able to stay in it. I had a single room with a single bed, just like the nuns had. That is what I had wanted - to share the experience. Other rooms are available, but I wanted the authentic experience."

"An old but lovely hotel in the heart of Old Quebec City. The room was spotless, the bathroom was very modern and had everything we needed. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor was excellent and the staff were lovely. Guests of the hotel were given a 15% discount on breakfast in the restaurant."
