"This was an excellent find. We stayed 1 night in the “attic” room, which met all our needs. The entry instructions and directions to the property were also very clear. An added bonus was the local pub “The Torbay”, which was surprisingly busy for a Tuesday. The food was great. The self serve continental breakfast was fine. "Friendly enough gent once we found him to confirm our on-line booking & get key. Stairway up to the rooms in main building is very steep and narrow. With mobility issues priorly mentioned it was odd that they assuumed this would work...NOT! My wife nearly fell on 3 occasions. There was toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, air fryer, & poacher...some milk, eggs, tea, juice, 6 eggs, lil bit of butter, (expired, crystalized honey), open sugar pot, a lil tub of open corn flakes, 5 pieces bread...no...

"Our accommodation was in a block beside the castle. The window was painted shut, beds were poor, a long walk to toilets and showers and no facilities in the room. The restaurant was closed. I'm ex military and have seen better army barracks."
