We had a lovely stay at this property, Nadia met us at the property and showed us around and gave us plenty of tips for the area. The room was clean and tidy with everything we needed for our stay, the balcony was great. I would happily stay at this property again if in the city

B&B located in "new city" near the old town. Every so often I stay in a place where the owners really understand what travelers need and have thoughtfully designed an experience to those needs: this is one of those places. Extremely well executed property: everything has been thought thru and they have what you need, including multiple kinds of shampoos, nespresso, direct USB outlets, etc. Heavy duty shades and good insulation made for a quiet and dark nights even on a lower floor of a building in the middle of a bustling city. Rooms, while not huge, are roomier than most B&B properties with a couch and desk (I was able to work at the desk). Nadia was a fantastic host, meeting me in person even though I was arriving a bit outside of normal check in hrs, providing customized suggestions for my mostly business stay, and checking in periodically thru the visit to make sure the room was meeting my needs. The location is ideal. There are many good restaurants very close. The B&B is located a few hundred yards from a Prestia e Comandè bus stop, making getting to/from the Palermo airport to the B&B pretty simple and inexpensive (the train is not that convenient to this location). It's a 5-10m walk to the edge of old town but felt completely safe and easy, even at night. I would definitely stay again if returning to Palermo. Highest recommendation.

Politeama luxury suites are located on a very busy square. With the convienience of the location it also comes with heavy traffics. A loud party bus goes around the block into late night.

A Pleasant Experience

Nadia and her husband (the property owners) are very welcoming and helpful. Nadia reached out to me a couple days before my arrival and arranged the airport pick-up for me. Also upon my arrival she caught up with me at the property and marked all the Palermo’s must-sees as well as the markets and good restaurants on a map for me. The property is very well located, and many tourist attractions are in walking distance, and can be reached by bus too. And Palermo, wow, it’s a hidden gem of Italy. A very lively city, with so much art and visionary delights, mouth-watering pastries, historic sites, nice sandy beach, …. Thank you Nadia.

great location, nice building, comfortable bed, big bathroom and shower, safe feeling, well appointed/modern room, bottled water in fridge, lots of room in studio with sofa and dining table. The host Marco was the most helpful and accommodating host we have ever experienced and even became a friend. He speaks excellent English and is able to give recommendations for things to do and places to go. Upon arrival he met us at the shuttle bus stop in Politeama square and walked us to the room, explaining everything in detail and providing us with a map where he showed us all of the sites to be visited.....as well as recommending restaurants in the area.

Pratique pour visiter Palerme

L'hôte Luigi est absolument adorable, prévenant et très accueillant. Concernant le logement, il s'agit d'une chambre faisant partie d'un appartement avec 3 autres chambres également locatives. La partie commune de l'appartement se résume à une petite cuisine avec un évier et un micro ondes c est tout. La chambre quant à elle est très bien équipée, climatisation indispensable au regard de la température extérieure en plein mois d'août, un lit et un canapé lit ainsi qu'une salle de bain très bien équipée. Étant en plein coeur de Palerme vous êtes à proximité du centre historique à pied ce qui est bien pratique. Nous concernant nous avons passé 4 nuits la bas, l'immeuble donnant sur une place avec station de bus, nous avons trouvé les nuits très bruyantes malgré la fenêtre fermée, garer la voiture est un peu complexe même si on comprend vite que les Siciliens ne se prennent pas trop la tête avec le paiement des stationnements ! Les petits déjeuners sont pris dans un petit bar à 5 mn de là, c est inclus dans la prestation, vous avez le droit à une pâtisserie et un café... Chocolat chaud, jus d'orange nécessitant de payer un supplément.

Estuvo muy bien la estancia y amabilidad de Luigi, la habitación muy bien. Destaco la recomendación de los servicios de Salvo quien aparte de buscarnos y llevarnos al aeropuerto nos llevo a conocer diferentes lugares como Cefalu, Monreale, San Vito Lo Capo brindando un servicio excelente, siendo una persona muy confiable que se desvive por brindar un excelente servicio y a precios muy razonables. Muy recomendable contratarlo para sightseeing privados.

Conociendo Palermo

Nos costó encontrar el hotel ya que es un edificio y no vimos cartel alguno. La ubicacion es espectacular, cerca de todo sin ser ruidoso ni lleno de gente. Dificil estacionar como en todo Palermo. Luigi el encargado merece un 11 puntos, hace que todo valga la pena. Nos recomendó un lugar para cenar y nos encantó!

Luigi and his wife were perfect hosts! We were in contact with each other a few days before check-in, and then again the day of as our check-in time approached. Upon greeting each other during check-in, it felt like we had known each other for years! He and his wife were very friendly and personable. Luigi provided several recommendations for restaurants, shopping areas, historic areas, etc. and gave us a map of the area. The room was modern, spacious, comfortable, had a balcony with a view of the busy square, and had all of the amenities that exceeded our basic needs. The location was excellent - a safe & nice neighborhood with tons of restaurants & shopping, within walking distance to main attractions, and a major bus stop station where we could catch the bus to Mondello Beach. We highly recommend Luigi's accommodations, and would stay here again if we go back to Palermo.

Ottimo B&B molto pulito a due passi da tutte le principali attrazioni di Palermo. Il titolare della struttura super disponibile e cordiale. Unica pecca è la colazione al bar, non all’altezza delle bontà che si possono assaporare in altri bar di Palermo (caffè + brioche e nient’altro).

Stay was fine. Calling these “Luxury Suites” is a huge overstatement. Small room and bathroom with minimal cleaning service. Not in a great part of town. Nothing wrong but no reason to return.

Stay Here!!!

This hotel is awesome on all accounts. It’s clean, modern and has great amenities like a massaging/led shower and a Nespresso machine. The location is super central and super safe with many bus lines nearby including a direct bus to Mondello, the nearby beach. Everything is within walking distance including great restaurants and shopping. The owner Luigi is very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this place for all travelers.
