"I have traveled to Bologna on quite a few occasions over the past 40 years....and this is the one place I can't imagine not staying at next time I visit. Historic building, beautiful views, lovely accommodations, wonderfully located, delicious breakfast - and most of all, a truly special host. One caveat, there are stairs (though the owner will take care of baggage), so if you are mobility restricted, you would need to take that into consideration."

"Location was good, unit was large, staff were okay. You have to pay for any late check out. Check in starts at 2pm but staff are gone by 4pm on weekends. They asked for auto check in (personal info) but we were travelling with only wifi :("

"The room and hotel were clean. Roof top bar was nice. The images of the rooms make the room appear larger than they are. With 2 people, 2 suitcases and 2 back packs there was minimal room to get around the bed or into bathroom. The bathroom is in a glassdoored room so if you’re not comfortable on the toilet or showering in front of somebody, get comfortable. Fresh orange juice is available if you ask for it. It’s a 20 minute walk to the centre of Bologna. Staff were friendly and helpful."
