We were a party of 3 friends: the staff immediately changed the bed from a double to 2 singles before we had even unpacked. Breakfast was so civilised, prepared fresh to order with great coffee served as requested. Pool area is great. One of our party was brave enough to take a swim. Perfect location in a nice quiet area of Valletta. No complaints whatsoever. Oh and filtered water supplied in the room daily "

"Great location. 2 blocks from main area and restaurants. Clean hotel and nice bathroom. The room I had did not have a desk or a lot of space to open suitcase. Ok for 1 person but might be a bit tight for 2. Staff were very friendly and nice breakfast. Have coffee/tea available all day and serve happy hour wine in afternoon. Love the touches. Would stay again. Thank you! "

"Superior Double Room, with Terrace, 5th floor, facing the street. The walls are not soundproof, but quiet enough. Mainly plumbing noise carried between our room (504) and those next door. Not a problem for sleeping hours though. Breakfasts were great, as was the location in Valetta, directly opposite the French Consulate on a quiet 1-way street near the centre. The TV has working HDMI inputs for a computer connection (bring your own cable), and the WiFi was fast and reliable. UK style...

"Lovely hotel and a great place to stay and explore Valletta. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly and our room was ready early also. The room was very clean and spacious with a large comfy bed so we will definitely be returning to Palazzo Paolina hopefully in the near future."
