A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel.

The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. all the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent. A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory.

A great hotel with a peaceful and upmarket atmosphere. Rooms aren't big but they are clean and comfortably furnished and we had a lovely view of the harbour. We enjoyed the restaurant - good selection at breakfast. The hotel is brilliantly situated just outside Valletta's city gate so easy to walk everywhere.

The location of the hotel is fantastic if you want to explore Valletta. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is really well maintained. The Bastion Pool has amazing views over the harbor.

The staff and service is what makes this stop 5 star (and the amazing pool + garden grounds). The rooms are very small, but you’re in such a fantastic area you rarely spend time in your room. I highly recommend!

Beautiful premises close to Valetta’s fountain. Wonderful outdoor swimming pool at the end of a beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast and we poved the Club bar at night.
