"Very nice hotel with a friendly staff and very clean rooms! We were there when the Cubs weren't playing, so it was easy to get around without game traffic. Also, unlike a lot of other hotels, they didn't treat the Expedia reservation as inferior. We had a nice room with a view of the field."

"Cute hotel in a quiet and pretty area of town, but still walkable to restaurants. Parking was easy. They only do valet though, so bring cash for a tip. The interior had a cozy design with a cute sitting room with coffee and tea. The rooms didn't have a coffee maker, which was difficult for me because I need it first thing in the morning. But for people not self conscious about going down to the lobby for coffee before showering/makeup, the setup is great and they have lots of creamer/sweetener options available. The room was on the smaller side but plenty big for me and my husband. The bed was comfortable and there were snacks/drinks stocked for purchase. Both staff members we talked to were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"This was the smallest, most shoddy hotel room I've ever stayed in. And with fees it was almost $300 per night. Zero amenities except for shampoo and conditioner and an old coffee maker. A much needed renovation appears to be in progress but I'll stay elsewhere on my next trip to Chicago."

"I don’t understand the excellent reviews at this hotel. The hotel was in a great location. However the room was very dated and smelled of mildew and mold. Shower was filthy. Furniture was falling apart. Would not stay here again. "
