Rooms are recently renovated, high quality, and the location is perfect - close enough to the restaurants but also to the funicular so you don’t have to drag your luggage too far. "Great old hotel in a perfect location. Lots of character and a very good value. I would note only that there was no air conditioning, and as is typical in Italy, no screens on the windows, so it was difficult to stay cool on very hot nights given that there are also lots of mosquitos. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, so overall a great experience."

"The location was amazing. It was very close to all the main sights such as the duomo, museums and the underground tour. There were lots of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. Unfortunately the accommodations were lacking in some basic provisions that we had expected would be provided such as toilet paper, pillow cases for the extra pillows which we required, drying towels for dishes, Also of importance is that to there is not parking spot provided which we understood from the website...
