"We adored our stay at this little B&B in Limeray. Antoine was a gracious and fun host to have—we availed ourselves of his offer of dinner (with a reasonable surcharge per guest) on the first night of our stay, and the breakfast both mornings was generous in size and perfect as a start for a day in the Loire Valley. The suite, La Longere, with its long hallway and quirky angles, was incredibly charming and perfect for our family of five—three comfortable single beds for them and a larger queen...

"The staff are wonderful. I wish check in hours weren’t so limited - we arrived earlier than expected and wanted to drop off our bags, but had to wait around in the car a long time (since we didn’t want to leave our luggage unattended) until the check in hour that begins at 5p, since the doors are locked and no one answered the door until then. Also wish that they had AC- it was pretty hot during our stay."

"We had a wonderful stay at Le Clos Sainte-Marie and couldn’t recommend it more highly. It offers a truly authentic Loire Valley experience — peaceful, welcoming, and full of local charm. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean, the rooms were spacious and very private, and the location is ideal — close to most of the major Loire Valley castles. "The owners, Gaelle and Bruno, are grand hosts and are charming. This visit was our second, and if we return to Amboise, we will stay there again. The rooms in the manor house are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a must. Our hosts provided recommendations for dinner that were not tourist oriented, and helped us schedule a taxi to the railway station."
