"It is really very close to the beach, you can even walk it.i also love the place itself. very quiet. The only thing really is the air con is very loud that you can’t sleep! That is the tie breaker. Either you sleep in comfort with the loud sound of the air conditioner blasting loud into your ear or hot but quiet during the night. "We were originally planning to stay here for 3 nights but ended up extending to 5 due to a hurricane affecting our plans to visit the other side of the island. Teresa at the front desk was very helpful in helping us extend our stay and ensure we kept the same room. We had booked an Ocean View room but they’d upgraded us to Oceanfront at check in which was really appreciated as well. Our kids loved the stay at the hotel, spending hours playing in the pool. The water slide is pretty slow but nice to have. I really appreciated the self serve laundry room near our room, with a microwave available, and also the boiling water dispenser by the lobby. We didn’t end up eating at the hotel restaurants and saved money by eating in our rooms. The store on site even had reheatable food options. It was a shame the gaming room with the pool table and arcade machines was never open during our stay, but it was nice for our kids to play outdoors anyway. Parking was easy, sometimes the room key wristband didn’t make the barrier open or close but you could just press ‘Assistance’ and they would open the gate for you. Would be great if there was still the manta ray night viewing restaurant, but you have to take a tour to do that now. Handy walk down tho."

"This was a quick layover before heading to the other side of the island for our son’s wedding. We enjoyed being tucked into the tropical setting g bit still a quick walk to the beach. Really adorable place, clean and comfortable. As with many island accommodations there were only fans and breezes through open windows. And there were fun critters to keep us company."
