The staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms and communal spaces were clean. It wasn't busy when we were there so it felt cozy. I liked being able to open the window and get fresh air. Not quite as nice as the pictures, kind of low end furnishings, but still put together well. Very much a 3 star hotel in that sense.

Great stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kuroyon

Enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kuroyon. The management has been changed and they have renovated it into a totally new upgraded hotel. The lane swimming pool is available for free for the hotel guests and it is connected to indoor & outdoor public bathes. How refreshing to take a dip to a hot bath after swimming. Staff are friendly and the facilities are all new and clean. Although there are one restaurant and a cafe available, but they serve a great buffet and a variety of a la carte. Will come back again soon.

I’d rather be closer to the action

Went in peak skiing season, felt like a ghost town and no vibe. Daily shuttle service was only one time per day and came back too late. Rooms are just average. Staff only speak when they’re spoken to, polite but not really informative. Food was the worst we’ve had in Japan. Once you’re at the hotel, you’re stuck! Unless you have a car I wouldn’t recommend staying here. If you have a car… and can be bothered driving 40 mins each way to eat after a day of skiing… then maybe

We staid one week at the Holiday Inn in Omachi. The Hotel is closely located to the transportation system to Murodo if you are interested for mountain hikes up to or around Mt. Tateyama. We felt very comfortable staying at the hotel enjoying the Onsen and our spacious quiet room. The buffet dinner had good selections changing every other night. The hotel is centrally located if you like to go to Hakuba or Matsumoto.

まだ新しく快適な温泉つきホテル

一番安い部屋に夕食をつけて一泊しました。 部屋はパーキングビューでしたが、最上階の角部屋で、静かでよかったです。部屋にはソファーがあるもののリラックスできるとは言えない座り心地で、テーブルが大きくセキュリティボックスを使うのに邪魔でした。テーブルは部屋で食事や仕事をするには便利かもしれませんが、邪魔なので折りたたみ式が便利かもしれません。部屋やバスルームは新品同様で、高級感があるとは言えませんがとても綺麗で快適でした。 バー、カフェ、ロビー、ラウンジ兼用のスペースは、雰囲気がよく、利用者も少なく写真の通りでよかったです。 温泉は、アルカリ単純泉ではあるけれど、完全な源泉掛け流しで、たっぷりとかけ流されていました。大浴場には、全く期待していなかったので驚きました。 夕食は、バフェのメニューを見た上でバフェに決めました。感動的というほどではありませんでしたが、十分美味しく料金相応の内容だったと思います。コースもよさそうだったので、次に訪れる時にはコースを試してみようと思います。 飲み物は都心や海外の四つ星五つ星のホテルと比べても少し高く感じましたが、量は多かったし、味も良かったので満足感はありました。よく見ませんでしたが、飲み放題もあるようでした。 本物の温泉つきのクォリティが確保されたホテルというのが良かったので、いずれ家族も連れて再訪したいと思いました。
