"We stayed in Room 753 in Dennis Tower, which was designated as a non-smoking room. Unfortunately, the room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke from the moment we checked in. After we reported it, someone came about an hour later and sprayed the room with an air freshener, but this only masked the odor temporarily. The smell of smoke remained throughout our entire stay. "My husband & I, along with our 10 mo. old puppy, had a great stay at the Tavern. We had no problems with the hotel staff, guests, or location when it came to our puppy. Beautiful location and so welcoming. The beach on the bay, the fishing pier right there, and restaurants were absolutely perfect for our little get-away. Clean, quaint, welcoming, and scenic at its best. We want to stay again, but without our puppy, to take advantage of the other dining locations in the neighborhood. Only issue...
