I enjoyed how big the premises were. All the restaurants and stores were awesome. The only thing I disliked was some of the pools you could not sit you had to pay for a seat.

The Tropicana was great! We had a king bed that was comfy! The hotel was big with lots of restaurants and a wonderful beach area. The parking was wonderful! 15 dollars per stay with in and out privileges and they gave us a coupon for addition 5 dollars off! 4 days of parking for 10 bucks!!

Property could stand some updating/modernizing; but that would likely be reflected in price increases. Overall, we had a great time, enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. Big shout out to the front desk staff and the Black Jack dealers... truly made our stay more enjoyable. Very personable, helpful, and entertaining!

Nice hotel, loved the casino and all the different options of food within the hotel….. was a bit disappointed with bathroom setup shower was horrible. Tried going to the family pool and unsuccessful, if not closed too full kids were disappointed. Asked for toilet tissue got a box of tissues. Overall not too bad of a stay but I would prefer a different hotel next visit

The property has the potential to be one of the best in the boardwalk, in my opinion. The staff is RUDE AND NASTY. I stayed this weekend for my birthday. Here are my ratings: - food- many options for all types of food - room- stayed in the Solana Tower- hallways were extremely hot however room temperature was amazing; had to wait 25-30 minutes for elevators - entertainment- attended a comedy show (Desi Banks) as a birthday outing. Comedians were great as I wasn’t familiar with Desi, CT or Tyler Chronicles. I love laughter and thoroughly enjoyed

I was told the hotel had been renovated but our room didn't seem to be. The elevators were being worked on so there was always a long wait. Another person I talked to said that she was here 2 years ago and the elevators were being worked on then. The room could have been cleaner but wasn't horrible everything worked as should. The casino and restaurants were great seems they put more money time and effort into those areas.

Hotel was good, location was good, room 786 south tower was great except not the greatest view and a major annoyance in the bathroom. If I was staying more than one night I’d be switching rooms, the door to the bathroom and the toilet did not get along. The door can’t be opened without hitting the toilet, and if you’re using the toilet you have to close the the door all the way. If you don’t the door will slowly come back and hit you or be in your face, pick your poison.

The Havana side had a very strong mildew smell no matter what floor, I let them know I only got a Sorry response. The resort is in a great location, My room was clean and everything you need is on site but how unfair is it to spend your money and come and have to smell that awful smell your entire stay??? Since I used a third party site nothing could be done and my family just had to deal with it.

The casino, rooms, and restaurants were above average. The amount of walking to get your room to access the casino and restaurants can be challenging for people with disabilities. I've stayed there three times, and I would do so again. That said, be aware they have excessive fees tagged on to your cost of the room. The resort fee and additional room fee can easily add 25% to 50% of what you may see for cost of the room online. Also, upon checking out, you want to make sure you review your bill! Added on to my stay was an 80 dollar late check out fee. I never asked for late check out, and we did check out an hour before regular check out. Believe it or not, I had to argue that point before they agreed to remove it. So, be aware.

Pros:The rooms were very clean. Our coffee maker did not work and we needed some towels. The staff brought it up to our room in 30 minutes. The casino was wonderful with many different choices of what to play. Staff was helpful anytime we needed anything or had a question. The bathroom was huge and the room was decent size. Another nice quality about this hotel is its located further up the boardwalk, away from some of the craziness. Cons: The pictures show a hot tub,THERE IS NO HOT TUB unless you pay for the spa. This was one reason we booked this hotel so to find no hot tub was very disappointing! The pools are ok but very crowded. In the pool area cabanas and even comfy lounge chairs cost extra. The elevators are a bit slow, due to crowds. Lastly, this hotel is confusing. We were in the north tower so depending on what elevator we took you either needed to go to the 4th floor and walk to North tower elevators or take it all the way. We got lost a few times. Overall, I would stay here again for the rooms,casino, and beach.

We chose Tropicana because it seemed like one of the iconic hotels in Atlantic City, and we were excited to stay here. The resort itself is beautiful to walk around. There are many restaurants, shops, and entertainment options, so spending time inside is enjoyable even if you are not gambling. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The experience started poorly at check-in and continued throughout our visit. The room felt outdated and not very well maintained, and overall the service did not match the price we paid. We expected a much higher standard from such a well-known resort. If your main reason for coming is to spend most of your time in the casino, then Tropicana may be a reasonable choice. The casino is large, lively, and there is always something happening. However, if you are looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent service, clean and modern rooms, and a memorable vacation experience, we believe there are better options in Atlantic City. We have stayed in several other hotels, and in our opinion they offered much better value for a similar price. We don’t regret visiting Tropicana because it was interesting to see, but we would probably choose a different hotel for our next trip. The resort has potential, but it needs better customer service and more attention to the guest experience to justify its rates.
