The area this hotel is in is pretty bad, but the hotel itself was nice. The room was huge, staff was very nice, and the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is great but the surround area in Oakland is shady. Only thing I wish is they had some variety in breakfast as it was the exact same thing daily for the 2 weeks I stayed there.
