"It is a very neat and clean place. We enjoyed a wonderful hot spring bath. The location is very convenient. You can taste local snacks in the surrounding market. It is highly recommended."
"The room was clean and the most important thing of all, the bathroom is huge and perfect for the private hot spring! It would be nice if they could provide thicker towels but other than that, it's perfect for a peaceful stay with lots of hot spring sessions."

"Hotel is super clean and well located. Walking distance to the local features and food spot.
Staff were very friendly. Joyce was very friendly, and thoughtful. My wife wasn’t feeling well, she take a special trip to visit her and brought her drinks to see how she was doing. Can’t express the gratitude, and detail to attention all staff committed too. "
"I loved my stay. The property is wonderful and clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The service was outstanding. Everyone was friendly, helpful and focused on service. Jason gave us a great introduction to our room and an overview of the amenities. He is super knowledgeable and funny. Fantastic hotel and highly recommended."
"A Truly Luxurious Hot Spring Retreat – Highly Recommended!
If you’re looking for the perfect escape in Taipei, I wholeheartedly recommend Grand View Resort Beitou. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by serene surroundings, elegant architecture, and top-tier hospitality. The hotel beautifully blends modern luxury with traditional Japanese-inspired design, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere.
The private in-room hot spring baths are absolutely the highlight – spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with soothing natural sulfur spring water. It’s a rare treat to enjoy such comfort and tranquility in your own space, with beautiful views of the mountains or garden.
The service here is exceptional – warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every detail. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and equipped with everything you need for a truly relaxing stay.
The on-site restaurant also deserves praise. The cuisine is refined and beautifully presented, offering a delightful mix of local and international flavors that match the overall sense of elegance.
Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a wellness retreat, or simply a peaceful break from the city, Grand View Resort Beitou is the perfect choice. I’ve stayed here multiple times, and it never disappoints. Definitely a five-star experience worth repeating!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean & cosy establishment. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly and our use of the shuttle up and down the hillside to the MTR station felt like we had a chauffeur service at our fingertips.
The heated spring waters fhat is supplied to the individual baths do not carry a strong sulphur odor, but instead leaves one's skin feeling smooth and supple (due to its high lead suplhate content)
The breakfast is more for an Asian taste, but nonetheless delicious and truly reflective of genuine local Taiwanese cuisine.
The only drawback to the hotel is that it is starting to show its age and needs renovation in areas like carpets and toilet fixtures, albeit the tatami mats are still in excellent condition.
As a reflection of its historic charm, be sure to check out the print in the lobby of a watercolor and ink painting, the original of which is now stored in the National Palace Museum, showing the establishment in its original form set among the hills of Thermal Valley, The original painting was gifted to the hotel by its painter, a cousin of China's last emperor Puyi, who was so enamored by his stay.at the hotel that he took to brush.
