"The best place to stay! Everything was excellent and well-organized, including the timely boat-rides. Spa massage was soothing and energizing. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Room had a terrific view, was clean and very comfortable. Staff was always helpful, courteous and friendly."

"Great hotel in the heart of Aswan. I was welcomed with a hibiscus tea and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and modern. Located right next to Aswan souks as well as a few restaurants with English menus. Very happy I chose to stay here."

I loved my stay so much that I extended for an additional three days."

"The place is on Elephantine island, you can only get there by ferry. The cost is minimal around $ .70 for a one way. The island is way quieter than the mainland. Make sure you are expected upon arrival, signage is limited."

"Beautiful location with easy access to the ferry terminal. We were met by Gamal and brought across to the island on his boat. From the moment we met him Gamal went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. We learnt much from him about the Nubian culture and people and we have great respect for him. We would lovee to return again. The next day we hired Gamals Felucca and spent a wonderful day and night sailing the Nile. Breakfast was delicious and there are great restaurants for the evening just next door to Ana-Ka too."
