"We had a good stay at Terre di Romanello. On arrival there was a mix-up with the room we had been allocated, but this was promptly resolved by the staff at reception. We booked the apartment and the views from our private balcony were wonderful. The apartment did give us lots of space, however, we were disappointed to find that although the apartment had a full kitchen, we were only able to use the fridge as there was no cutlery, crockery, pans, or any tableware for us to use. There was a kettle and two mugs, two small glasses and two plastic wine glasses only, plus two tiny bamboo spoons! The hotel is remote and you would definitely need a car to get around. The breakfasts were good with plenty of choice and there was the opportunity to sit inside or outside. The outside seating was on the grass in the garden area behind the restaurant, tables outside were plastic and on slightly uneven ground, we sat inside for the air conditioning. The restaurant room was small with sitting for 16 people on tables for 2 or 4, there were a further two tables in a corridor on the way to the garden area, each seating 2. Service was good. The menu choice was limited as this is a small hotel and we were surprised how high-end it was. In fact for us this was a negative for us, as we had wanted to enjoy something more authentic and Sicilian and perhaps rustic in style and presentation. The beds were large and very comfortable, due to the warm weather we happily slept under a sheet."

"This hotel was the highlight of our trip in Sicily. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. Our room was beautiful, spotless and very comfortable with modern fixtures while retaining it's historic structure and charm. Walking distance to the center of town, Giuseppe and his family make you feel right at home, with a very calm energy. The breakfast was fantastic every single day with homemade food. They went above and beyond to make recommendations of the best places to visit. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Sicily, it's centrally located to other towns and Sicily's most beautiful beaches and historic sites."

"This hotel turned my three night stay in Noto into a dream!! It was so nice to come back after longer days of sightseeing and feel safe. It’s very close to the city center. Walkable distance to all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are beautiful and incredibly clean. The hostess, Alessandra was available and helped me coordinate a taxi to my next location. Even the breakfast service (included!) in the morning was a really nice start to the day. 100% recommend! I would also suggest to rent a car to travel in this area (it’s the only thing I regret not doing and has nothing to do with the place itself) just a serious uphill/stairs walk from the train station - but very doable!"

"We felt so welcome and the breakfast was amazing. The only issue was that there was a heat wave and the lights/AC went out several times during the night. Someone did fix it in the middle of the night but perhaps the demands were too high for the system. Otherwise would have been a perfect stay."
