"My partner and me stayed during the first horrible heatwave in June, to get some respite in the AC that was featured in the amenities of the property. Not only was there AC in the room, but also in the pub/restaurant area! It was absolutely delightful - we struggled leaving! The staff were so friendly and attentive; nothing was too much trouble. We were given a flask of fresh milk to have with tea/coffee in the room, and some freshly baked cookies. I couldn’t get the shower to cool down, this...

"We enjoyed our stay in the historic Inn. Our room was large, clean and was ample for our 2 day staff. Breakfast was very good. The Inn isocated in a pretty village near Frome. We enjoyed our stay."

"The hotel spa was dirty and had dead flies everywhere in and around the pool. There was a light hanging down from the ceiling in the steam room. Multiple lights smashed in the carpark. We also didn’t have any towels in our room upon arrival."

"We have just spent 3 nights here and can't speak highly. Our stay was very comfortable. Our room was very well equipped, clean. We had biscuits, teas coffe hot chocolate, water and milk and juice on our arrival. Everything you could need in the room. But if you did need anything the staff would be happy to help. The room and pub was so clean . The breakfast were your good and lots of it. Evening meals we ate there 2 nights and all meals very good. Although the fish option wasn't available...

"We stayed for just one night before visiting longleat, the building and rooms were tired and need do need refurbishing but it was totally fine for a short stopover . The staff were so friendly and made a real effort with our 2 children, particularly Isla (I think that was the girls name) Good car park provided free of charge."
