"I have stayed at this location twice, because I was so impressed I came back. The location is impeccable and it is a joy to be right near the cathedral. Staff are lovely and very helpful, and they also have a wonderful aselection of wines in the bar, should you wish to look at your excellent view and relax. I highly recommend the stay."

"Spacious, Comfortable Stay with Excellent Service We stayed at Appart'City Confort Cherbourg for one night on our journey home, and it was an excellent choice. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive both on arrival and at check-out, making us feel very welcome. Our studio apartment was much larger than we expected, with a separate seating area and TV, a comfortable double bedroom, and a spacious bathroom with a lovely shower. It was ideal for relaxing after a long day of travelling. The location is excellent, with easy access to the town and port, making it a very convenient place to stay before or after a ferry crossing. There is really only one area that could be improved: some form of air conditioning would make a big difference, especially during warmer weather. Apart from that, we couldn't fault our stay. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable overnight stay and would happily choose to stay here again when travelling through Cherbourg."

"Loved the room -- nice size, wood floors, terrace. The chairs could be better. They were hard and difficult to sit on for a football game. TV was great. Location of the hotel is perfect -- walking distance to train station and to old part of town. Restaurant is first rate."

"We stayed at this Hotel in June while visiting all the WW2 sites and doing 3 tours . The hotel was fabulous could not fault , near to everything , the welcome we received from Etienne was amazing from checking in to vacating and helping out with train suggestions and printing out tickets was incredible, the personal touches from this gentleman was truly a hugh asset for the Hotel , and a true professional , polite & friendly . The cleaning team were amazing and our room was cleaned daily . Breakfast was plentiful and fresh . Thank you for a fabulous stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to future guests and if back in Normandy would most definitely book again ."

"ALL hotel staff were incredibly helpful. The location is 5 mins away from the tram and 1 min from a grocery store. So easy to get into the main part of the city by tram that is every 10-15 mins. Trams are free on Saturday and the line goes to Gare Rue Verte which is the stop for Rouen Rive Droit the train line from Paris. The A/C in the room was great. The breakfast which was included was more than sufficient with lots of choices (eggs, cereal, meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit etc.) The hotel restaurant is okay for a quick pizza if you don't want to go to the restaurants. They will also heat up a frozen meal for you if you buy it at the grocery store. The biggest issue was the Wifi. It is a public wifi (which is fine) There is some kind of security issue with an expired security certificate, so you cannot use a VPN. Which is a huge issue if you want to do remote work. I was able to go down to the Starbucks at Saint Sever mall ground floor) and use their wifi for the price of coffee. The hotel staff tried their best with giving me suggestions of coworking places (but they were all quite expensive)"

"This little hotel is beautifully presented and right on the beach close to restaurants and bars. It is clean and nodern and provides a very comfortable stay. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. There is restricted on site parking, but beach parking across the road. This hotel does not have a bar or restaurant itself, but there are plenty close by."
