"This was a nice personal chateau. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Bedroom was large and the bathroom was up to date. Minor negative's, no in room TV, but there is a very pleasant communal room on the ground floor. The top floor takes 55 steps to reach it, my fault for not doing full research. View is excellent, gardens are delightful, about 5 miles from Avaranches (great restaurants, pleasant town).Main dining room and lounge were excellently furnished, and in first class condition.
