"Quaint and gorgeous building and rooms! Only thing I'd suggest is that the owners put lamps in rooms to augment the LED lighting (for travelers like me whose eyes don't do so well with the LED frequencies). Other than that, the hotel was lovely, as were the staff!"

"great location!"

"I was disappointed with several aspects of my stay. There were not enough towels, and the bathroom flooded every time we took a shower. The room was also very dark, and the breakfast was disappointing. The eggs tasted terrible, and I honestly don’t know how they were prepared. "Friendly staff, had a real country pub feel but in town. Food was really good. Will definitely stay again, thank you"

"Great stay with a great host. Thanks for having us."

"The Mitre is a great old hotel, with loads of character. The location is fantastic for all amenities and the staff are very attentive. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Clean rooms particularly bathroom Good breakfast choices Good location"

"Lovely scenery and hotel. BUT it was not clean. Chairs were dirty and we could not sit on them"

"Very comfortable and a great breakfast."

"Always nice staying here, great value, parking, friendly staff. It's the perfect place to stay for business trips."
