At La Pérouse Nice, each of our rooms is uniquely designed, some offering delightful terraces or balconies. The Deluxe room you stayed in is indeed a Deluxe category room, boasting a balcony that is notably more spacious than the balconies of our Superior full Sea view rooms. We are sorry about the confusion (reason why the team was happy to relocate you to a Junior Suite located at the very top floor of the hôtel), and we are committed to revising our room descriptions to prevent any misunderstandings.We always aim to provide our guests with a memorable and positive experience, and we are truly sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. We were truly taken aback by your review, as we believe we have been quick to answer your feedback by arranging and offering an alternative room with a terrace, still upon your arrival to ensure your comfort throughout your stay with us. We sincerely regret that some of the concerns raised were not communicated earlier, as this would have allowed us to swiftly address them. Our only goal and is to always provide the best possible experience to all our guests. Regarding the rooftop access, we acknowledge your point. There are indeed three different entrances: one through the staircase, one through the elevator, and another through a secondary staircase. Only the last one has a door that opens from the inside only, as it’s not the main access. We appreciate your observation and will take steps to prevent such issues in the future by enhancing our signage. But we are really sorry you had to call reception to get off of our rooftop. Nevertheless, we are delighted to learn that you appreciated our garden breakfast and were charmed by the picturesque views from our property.
