Hotel Solarena Newport Beach, a Dazzler Select by Wyndham
"It was walking distance to the beach & that was great. The room was also secure. On the other hand, I did not like the keyless entry. Parking was cramped on Labor Day weekend. Parking might be easier at non-holiday times. No breakfast available was unfortunate."

Balboa Inn, On the Beach
"Rooms are very very old. Nothing has been updated for 20 years. Can’t adjust the ac because they don’t even have a thermostat with numbers to set the temp. Very poor quality hotel. Would not stay here again."

Dorymans Oceanfront Inn
"Location was wonderful. But…the surrounding area was really loud until 2:00am. I get that’s part of the area. But on a Monday was a huge surprise. The room was clean but was expecting it to be more updated for the money. Needs a facelift. I was disappointed."
