"The Sand Bar Cottage is the best place to stay in Bar Harbor! Arrive, unload, and stay parked while you walk and enjoy all that Bar Harbor & Acadia has to offer. Not worrying over finding parking was the greatest perk, but the entire property was beautiful with blooming flowers and the staff were all extremely helpful and hospitable. Our cottage was absolutely perfect. "

"This was a perfect place to explore, without the hubbub of being downtown. Every person who works here has a smiling face, the woman even called me to make sure I was ok because I hadn’t checked in by 7:45 PM (though the check-in is open till 10 PM).
