This was an amazing experience to stay at Island Place. Location is very close to the center, but far enough to stay quiet. Great place."
"They really have thought of everything. The rooms are great. The grab and go breakfast is perfect to head out either shopping in Bar Harbor or hiking in Acadia National Park. Constance, Christopher and Sydney made our time in Bar Harbor most enjoyable. Their advice on places to go and shop, eat and hike were all spot on! Love this place!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay in bustling Bar Harbor. On a quiet street walking distance to harbor and local restaurants and shops. Phoebe was the consummate host. Thank you for a memorable stay. "
"This is probably the most meticulously maintained and cleaned room we have ever stayed in. Everything looked as if we were the very first to stay in a brand new room, but we weren’t. Everything worked. Very comfortable and quiet. Beautifully landscaped outside. Walkable within 15 minutes to entire downtown Bar Harbor. Great stay!"
"I've stayed in hotels all over the world. This is the only property with a daily trail mix table (think dried cherries, pecans, Chex mix, chocolate bits) and a daily S'mores around the campfire time.
Add that to the view of the majestic deep blue Atlantic Ocean. Awesome!!"

"Very clean, modern space. Property owner was very informative and gave perfect instructions for check in/out.
Apt was in great location, at end of village, in quiet area of town, but within walking distance to everything, no need to drive for Village activities. Included all necessities. Only upgrade I would suggest would be to add a full length mirror in the bedrooms or somewhere in apt. Otherwise, no complaints! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!"
"Room is good.... Wifi great and lots of ports for charging deliver, comfy bed, excellent lighting. Parking right at the door. Very quiet despite adjacent rooms being occupied and watching TV. On the negative side, there is a very strong odor of cleaning chemicals --and I'm a bit reluctant to keep the windows open to get fresh air on a chilly evening. We older folks would appreciate two steps, not onebsteep one, from the parking lot to the entry."
