"Lovely lady greeted me on arrival and even carried my suitcase up the stairs for me. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Elswick park just down the road and free car parking opposite the hotel. 25 min down hill walk to city centre. Made use of the complimentary tea/coffee and real milk!! Handy convenience ..."

"Staff very helpful. Hotel is starting to show its age but this is certainly reflected in what I paid for the twin room for the night. Would recommend the hotel, don't expect the Ritz but I felt I got more than I paid for. Left with 2 breakfast in brown bags included in the price."
