"This is a really unique location. 60s theme oozes everywhere. You could imagine Sean Connery travelling through here in the 60s. The food options are reasonable, but are a little on the expensive side. The rooms are high quality with premium 60s theming, Think Dr. No style with brass flourishes. Corridors are welcoming and the lifts are brass finished. The Connie plane cocktail bar is a nice feature. The conference centre is well fitted and with plenty of space. It is underground. Staff are helpful. The runway facing rooms are only available from one of the hotel blocks and are in short supply. Please choose your room carefully. Hughes block faces the runway or the main building and has the best view options. The tunnel from the JFK terminal needs a new red carpet as red wears quickly, but otherwise, the hotel is well kept. Definitely worth a visit or a couple of nights’ stay. Please note that JFK is 1.5h by public transport from Manhattan."
